Hi there, I’m Sarah (the designer and the hostess) and this is the love-of-my-life and husband, Matt.
I founded Duraleigh Design Co. in 2018 as a means of fostering community through designing homes where family, friends, and neighbors can gather together.
My goal is to create spaces that are equally attractive and functional, or as I like to put it, “beautifully livable”. I want your house to be magazine worthy, yes, but you should also feel at home in your space when all is said and done - not like you’re on display in an art exhibit. I want you to jump at the opportunity to have your neighbors and their young sticky kids over for dinner; to feel comfortable moving the furniture for a family sleepover on the living room floor. I want you to look around and experience a deep sense of joy and belonging in your home, like it’s the exact place you pictured your life unfolding. Your home can be stunning and inviting, inspiring and comforting. It can be beautifully livable, and I’d be honored to help you make that a reality.
